Welcome to LSBDC
at University of Louisiana Monroe
We offer no-cost confidential business consulting and affordable workshops to new entrepreneurs and existing business owners.
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) was created in 1977 as an outreach service of ULM College of Business & Social Sciences, and the program became fully operational in 1983.
We serve Northeast Louisiana including Caldwell, Catahoula, Concordia, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, LaSalle, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union, and West Carroll parishes.
"My experience was very positive. VC and his office were critical in getting my SBA loan. I will definitely use their services again," says Micah Hogan.
“Without the help of the LSBDC at ULM we would not have been able to do what we wanted to do." - Randall McDonald, Owner
"The information the LSBDC provided game me confidence in knowing someone is standing with me." - Lee Mallahan, III
The LSBDC University of Louisiana Monroe partners with local organizations including economic development agencies, chambers of commerce, municipalities, and other community groups to provide counseling and training to entrepreneurs and small businesses in Northeast Louisiana.
