The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Xavier University of Louisiana Announces Promotion of Dr. Tina Langlois to Center Director
New Orleans, LA – The Division of Business at Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA) is excited to announce the promotion of Dr. Tina Langlois to the position of Center Director of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at XULA, effective December 2, 2024. This promotion recognizes Dr. Langlois’s outstanding contributions and commitment to excellence within the organization.
Since joining XULA in 2015, Dr. Langlois has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in designing and delivering business workshops, providing technical assistance to entrepreneurs, creating partnerships with other economic development organizations.
“Dr. Langlois has been an invaluable asset to our team,” said Mark L. Quinn, Conrad N. Hilton Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship at XULA. “Her dedication, leadership, and innovative thinking have significantly contributed to our success. We are confident that in Tina’s new role as Center Director, she will continue to drive our mission forward and inspire those around her.”
In her new position, Dr. Langlois will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to support the small business community in Southeast Louisiana, provide training and technical assistance to small businesses, and be a small business advocate. Her leadership will be crucial as the LSBDC at XULA continues to expand its reach and enhance its offerings to build strong small businesses in the region.
