MONROE - The Louisiana Small Business Development Center statewide network introduces a new public website with a new domain of www.louisianasbdc.org as part of a refreshed brand for the state’s largest entrepreneur technical assistance provider.

The new public website offers aspiring entrepreneurs and existing entrepreneurs an opportunity to get instant access to resources and information that will answer immediate questions, and give them a jumpstart prior to working with an LSBDC business consultant. The website continues to allow users to request for the Louisiana SBDC’s no-cost consulting services as well as register for the entrepreneurial training and workshops in their local areas.

“We really want this website to be a true resource for small business owners and entrepreneurs in Louisiana,” LSBDC State Director Carla Holland said. “From the self-starter to the person who needs to be guided closely, this website and rebrand answers questions and solves problems they may have on their entrepreneurial journey.”

With the launch of the new website located at www.louisianasbdc.org, the LSBDC also refreshed the design and layout of its business cards, print and digital brochures, signage and other marketing accessories the network uses to attract and capture its target audiences.

The LSBDC worked with several Louisiana-based small businesses during the rebrand including: DezinsInteractive of Baton Rouge, Primtek of Denham Springs, Peregrine Creative of Monroe, EJ Max Solutions of Monroe, and R&M Content Writers of Monroe.

LSBDC Director of Marketing & Communications DeRon Talley said “he really wanted to work with local small businesses on the rebrand effort.”

“It’s only right that we as the Louisiana Small Business Development Center utilize our own small businesses and talent to build a Louisiana product,” Talley said. “There is no better way to showcase the innovation and skillset of Louisiana entrepreneurs.”

New features of the site include allowing users to chat in real-time to get assistance, download free business planning templates in the areas of finance and marketing, as well as providing specific steps to starting a business, tips on cybersecurity considerations and disaster recovery.
