Ada Womack-Bell is the Director at the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southern University and A&M College. In addition, Mrs. Bell is responsible for the management and operations of 7-parish coverage area, as well as providing consultation services for startup and existing businesses in the capacities of strategic planning, business development, financial evaluation, marketing, and a variety of concentrated business components. Mrs. Bell’s areas of expertise include business development/expansion, training, program development, strategic planning, developing partnerships and team building.

Furthermore, Mrs. Bell has received multiple awards for exceptional performance in entrepreneurial training and development, and working within the community to assist small businesses. In 2020, The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southern University received the Small Business Development Center Service and Excellence and Innovation Center Award Presented by U.S. Small Business Administration. Mrs. Bell has over 16 years of experience working with small businesses in the private and public sectors. Mrs. Bell also serves her community as the founder of IMPOWER SMART and as a successful entrepreneur. 

Mrs. Bell received an MBA from the University of Phoenix, a BS in Business Administration from Louisiana State University, holds a certification in Office Systems Technology and Training, and is a certified facilitator with the Edward Lowe Foundation “Peer-Spectives” and Kauffman Fast Trac program.
