Lindora Baker is currently the Statewide Training Coordinator for LSBDC.  Prior to her appointment to this position, she served as the Community and Government Affairs Executive for University Health Shreveport bridging the gap between the community and the hospital.  In addition, she has over 25 years of experience in educating the community at all levels of healthcare where she served as the Program Development Coordinator.

Lindora has always been a person of the community.  For 12 years, she served 35,000 constituents as an Elected Official for Caddo Parish Commissioner District 6. This role afforded Lindora the opportunity to serve as Caddo Parish Board President, the 1st Economic Development Committee Chair for Caddo Parish, and Community and Economic Development Committee Chair for the National Association of County Officials (NACo) for 5 years.  Lindora was able to lobby Congress and Congressional Staff to appropriate funding for Capital and Economic Development local projects.  Lindora also represented NACo in meetings with federal agencies including international agencies, such as The German Embassy and the Local Government Exchange Economic Development Seminar for Japan.

Lindora has a BA in Business Administration and her most recent community awards are recipient of the Excellence in Leadership Award, Community Leaders of the Year, Impact Family of Covenant Churches, Senior Ministry Service Award and Community Service Award.
